Achievements that the NADD has accomplished are below.

Recognized by FSA as the official association representing District Directors.

Conducts formal negotiation and resolution sessions with management officials in Washington, D.C.

bullet

Established and maintains a District Director email address distribution list to facilitate communications among all FSA District Directors in the Nation.

Recognized nationally as a valuable resource and as a key to the success of the FSA. Continually responds to requests for input, opinions and task force participation.

Works to improve employee relations by participating with the three other FSA employee organizations.

bullet

Conceived and developed the idea for the first joint national training conference of District Directors and State Executive Directors.

Continues to support an annual national management conference to include all District Directors and State Executive Directors.

Represents District Directors on task forces, committees, and program initiatives including:

Promoted and assisted in the development of "Leading from the Center: Advanced Leadership Skills for the District Director" which is now in full implementation.

Participates on the Budget and Performance-based management System (BPMS) Workshop to assist FSA in presenting agency needs to OMB.

Participates on the Civil Rights Advisory Council.

Participates in National Association of County Office Employees (NASCOE), National Association of Support Employees (NASE), and National Association of Credit Specialists (NACS) national conventions.

Attends National Association of Farmer Elected Committees' (NAFEC) meetings.

Participated on the Administrator's Advisory Council.

Developed the job description and organized national support for the position of District Specialist to assist the District Director.

Established dues withholding agreement with USDA for NFC processing of NADD membership dues.
